The sock is knitted in a warm wool terry mix, 600 g/m² and ends just below the knee. Ribbed shaft for a good fit on the calf.
Garments such as socks, t-shirts and underwear that do not cover the entire body are always certified according to EN ISO 14116 (Protective clothing for limited flame spread) and can never be certified according to the higher flame protection standard EN ISO 11612. However, the material in the garment can be tested using the same test methods as for EN ISO 11612 A-F.
