ECOVADIS SUSTAINABILITY RATING

Every year, we are evaluated by the Ecovadis sustainability ranking. In this ranking, Tranemo is ranked in the top 35%. Our aim is to continuously improve our performance – and we have done so again this year.

Tranemo wants to continuously improve our sustainability efforts. By joining EcoVadis, Tranemo has taken another step in this direction. The EcoVadis rating is a natural part of our sustainability work and will help us improve our efforts in all four aspects that EcoVadis covers while simultaneously giving us accountability in working towards a better future. As well as give our stakeholders a better picture of our efforts and progress.

One of our core goals at Tranemo is to develop workwear as sustainably as possible without compromising the protection of our products. To do this, we have decided to continue working with EcoVadis to provide our clients with a rating from a sustainability assessment system built on internationally accepted principles for sustainability reporting, such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), UN's Global Compact and ISO:26000. Independent sustainability experts also revise the evaluation.

This has also been done to help us get a benchmark of where we are right now on our sustainability journey compared to our industry and what we can do to improve. EcoVadis helps companies to comply with the ever-growing global regulations and to improve sustainability across their supply chains.

The ratings cover multiple areas of sustainability, such as:

  • Environment
  • Labor & Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement

A company's actions, policies and results, together with inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders, are what EcoVadis base their ratings of a company's performance on.

The assessment includes:

  • A scorecard to see our performance.
  • Benchmarks for our industry and/or country.
  • Our areas of strength and improvements.
  • As well as news updates and reports.
      •  - To keep us up to date on what is happening in the world around us and how we're improving our performances.
